Caregiver Corner

If you are caring for a stroke survivor, you may have a lot of questions about whether your loved one will recover and what his or her needs will be in the months and years ahead. You may also worry about how you will manage in your new role.

At Rocky Mountain Stroke Center, we place just as much emphasis on caring for the caregiver as we do caring for the survivors themselves. We've gathered the information on the following pages to help caregivers navigate the journey after stroke and to hopefully, answer some questions.

There are support groups in our community that are comfortable and safe places for caregivers to express concerns and frustrations, as well to share achievements and encouragement.
