MEET BRUCE
With a B.S. in Geology and an M.S. in Resource Planning, Bruce worked as an environmental scientist. He had his stroke less than a year ago, but is already getting back to work. New to RMSC, he says that his stroke is most likely the result of family history and a blood clot.
As someone who loves being active, Bruce works out regularly, swims and does yoga for stroke survivors. He recently purchased a recumbent trike, a modified bike that gives him the ability to reintroduce cycling to his life. He knows Denver’s bike trails like the back of his hand.
Bruce enjoys his involvement with RMSC. “I love the regular encouragement and therapy…I am getting stronger all the time.” As of this month he has proudly begun driving again!
